Conference Hotel Update
National CASA is working
with the Omni Shoreham Hotel for hotel needs for conference
participants. As a
courtesy to other conference attendees, if you are holding
multiple hotel room reservations at the Omni under one name,
we would greatly appreciate it if you could contact them to
put names of attendees on those reservations and cancel any
rooms that you will not be utilizing. We want
to ensure that as many attendees as possible can get a room
at the Omni. If you are unable to secure a room at the Omni,
a waitlist is available in the event of cancellations.
National CASA has also contracted with a additional overflow hotels for
a limited number of hotel rooms at the negotiated conference
rate. Both hotels are located
minutes away via the Metro’s Red Line.
Please specify the
National CASA Association Annual Meeting when calling to
request a hotel room.

The 2008 National CASA
Conference will take place at the Omni Shoreham Hotel,
centrally located to many of DC’s major attractions
including Capitol Hill, the White House and many memorials,
monuments and museums. The Omni Shoreham is a four-diamond
luxury hotel nestled on 11 acres in Rock Creek Park and
offers many amenities including newly renovated guest rooms,
fitness center and outdoor pool.

Rates and Reservations:
Deluxe Room: $201
Or the prevailing government per diem rate in 2008. This
rate does not include the appropriate state and local taxes
(currently 14.5%). Special conference room rates are
available June 4—June 12, 2008, depending upon space and
rate availability. Reservations must be made prior to May
12, 2008 to receive the special rates. Please make your
reservations as early as possible as there are a limited
number of rooms available at this rate and may sell out
prior to May 12, 2008.

are part of the National CASA Association Annual Conference

Based on availability, room and bedding requests are honored
on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be
guaranteed. Please call the hotel directly for suite
upgrades. The Omni Shoreham Hotel is in compliance with the

Driving Directions and
Parking:
Please visit the Omni
Shoreham
website for driving directions from Washington, DC’s
major airports. Parking rates are $28 for valet and $23 for
self-park.
